Opening Fan Mail #StopMotion style @ #Dolls

Even though I’m just a school librarian with a love for doll-clothes-pattern-making, I do get fan mail on this website or in my P.O. box every now and then. Sometimes people send me photos of the lovely doll clothes they’ve made, using my free patterns.

At the top of this post, you’ll find a brief stop motion video showing the doll clothes made by one of my followers named Cait.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, Cait, but it looks like you’ve used the yellow floral lace-up gown pattern for your “Moira Duncan” country dress. Those are lovely roses on that dress, by the way–and I like the lace in the petticoat a lot too!

It also looks like you’ve used Lady Capulet’s gown for your “Moira Duncan” royal blue gown. I actually like your sleeves better than mine–they hide the seam nicely with a swatch of lace. Good work there!

Finally, I’m not exactly sure which of my patterns you have used for the French Provincial-style fabric dress with the bustle. What a gorgeous dress that one is! And the hat–my goodness! It was absolutely a pleasure to receive those pictures in my in-box! Thanks again. 🙂

If any of you would like to send me pictures of the doll clothes you’ve made, using my patterns, feel free to begin a conversation with me via email by using the form on my Submit a Question page. Once I receive your initial email, I will write back to you, and then you can send your pictures in the follow-up email. That’s usually how it works.

Or if you just want to send me hard-copy photos of the doll clothes you make–or if you prefer to write postal-style letters, my “snail mail” address is in the video above.

Hope you (and all of my followers) truly enjoy the video I’ve made.
