Image shows Mattel's Ken doll wearing a traditional Kwanzaa hat with a green geometric-patterned shirt and mustard yellow pants. The female fashion doll standing beside him is a "Photographer" doll from the Lammily doll company. She has a curly afro hairstyle, and she wears a hand-made poncho with a colorful African-style print. Her skirt is red with a sparkly overlay of tulle. Behind them, on the wall, is a painting of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, and the furniture behind them consists of a wicker loveseat and a dark wood china hutch (which houses both elegant pieces of china and a collection of books). The dolls appear to be in close contact, with the male Ken doll placing his arm lightly around the female Lammily doll. Overlay says, "ChellyWood.com: free printable sewing patterns and tutorials."

The apron can be used as a pinafore, as it does wrap around a doll's waist and tie at the back, but the straps of the apron are fixed in place, much like a full-dress pinafore. This apron has functional pockets and is also available to make as a reversible apron. It will fit dolls in the size range of Barbies, Liv Dolls, Momoko dolls, Queens of Africa, Francie, Midge, and many similar-sized fashion dolls. This is the pattern for the “harvest apron” project that I showed in yesterday’s preview photos. It’s the same pattern that we used to make the reversible hairdresser’s apron (published here on ChellyWood.com in July of 2017). The dress has a full skirt made of striped cotton fabric in multiple shades of turquoise blue. Its skirt is very short, coming to about mid-thigh on the doll. The bodice is a simple strappy bodice with darts. The doll's dangling plastic earrings match the turquoise blue of the felt bodice. The ribbon straps are made of 1/8 inch white satin ribbon. The doll has dark chocolate complexion and very curly black hair. The roses behind her are different shades of pink and red and white, and in the distant background, we see a lovely brick building with arches.
