If you want some accessories for your Kelly Doll or Chelsea Doll dioramas, today’s eBay sale is for you! #miniatures #PollyPocket

This photo takes in three items for sale in Chelly Wood's ebay store: a little girl Little People, a scooter, and an ice cream truck. All items are pink including the little girl's ribbon in her pretty brown hair. Some item have a secondary pale blue color, like the ice cream truck's and the scooter's wheels.

As my regular followers know, I’m selling a few of my doll-related items in my eBay store lately, to make room for new things. This week I’m selling an adorable pink and blue Polly Pocket ice cream delivery truck and a pink and blue scooter.

In keeping with my Black History Month theme, the Little Person I’m selling would pass for African American too.

I bought this Polly Pocket miniature ice cream truck, thinking I would design a fun scene with Mattel’s Kelly and Chelsea dolls, but as you can see in the image below, both Kelly and Chelsea are a bit too big to actually fit inside the ice cream truck. NOTE: These dolls are NOT being sold with the truck:

Here we see a Chelsea male doll / boy doll standing next to a Polly Pocket ice cream truck. The Chelsea and Friends boy doll is clearly too tall for the ice cream truck. Near the ice cream truck door is a Kelly doll and a knockoff Kelly doll. It's clear that although they're about the right size, these dolls were also not made to fit in the ice cream truck.

It should also be noted that the Chelsea doll can ride the scooter, as shown below:

The Chelsea and Friends boy doll sits with his legs spread apart on the scooter and his hands touching the handlebars of the scooter.

But Kelly dolls have to sit sideways in order to “ride” the scooter:

Even though the dolls didn’t fit the diorama props perfectly, I really wanted to create some fun sets for these dolls. Unfortunately, those project ideas were put on hold, and now, with my daughters going off to college, I’m down-sizing my doll clothes design studio.

So I’m going to let this cute little set go, along with one Fisher Price Little People toy person and the miniature scooter you see here (please note the paint issues):

This image shows the scooter from an above-the-item view. You can clearly see that the pink paint is chipping away from the handlebars, but the item is really adorable in colors of pink and pale blue.

I honestly think this little ice cream truck / ice cream delivery wagon would be fabulous for anyone building doll houses in a smaller-than-1:12 scale. If you’ll notice, its little doors open, and there’s a tiny seat in there for a smaller-than-1:12 scale doll to sit on. Also, the back flaps down to make a cute little checkered floor for a table and chairs.

This image shows that the passenger side of the Polly Pocket ice cream truck also has a door that swings open to reveal a realistic seat. Also, the back of the delivery truck lays flat against the pavement to expose a pink and white checkered floor that likely once held a table for customers to eat at.

I wish I had made time to create a fun diorama myself, but alas, I’ve had this little ice cream cart for two or three years now, with no dioramas to show for it. So it’s time to sell it and move on.

This image shows that the door on the "driver's side" of the ice cream truck swings open to reveal a seat. Also, we can clearly see that there's an open window through which a doll or miniature can serve ice cream at the back of the ice cream delivery truck.

Some of you are probably wondering when I’m going to make clothes for my male Chelsea and Friends doll. Yes, eventually I’ll make him some clothes and share those designs with you, but there’s nothing on the drawing board at this time. I did buy him for designing clothes though. So eventually that will happen.

Feel free to leave a comment as a request. Should I make my male Chelsea doll a pair of shorts and a T-shirt, a pair of overalls with a long-sleeved shirt, a pair of pajamas, or something else…?

There are already free patterns for Kelly and Chelsea female dolls on this website, and you can locate those free printable PDF sewing patterns by clicking on the links provided.
