Today I’m going to share a pattern that will fit 10 inch dolls with a body like Mattel’s Petite Barbie.
Where I live, in the US state of Idaho, it’s winter time, but in the southern hemisphere of the earth, they are enjoying the warm weather of summer! So here’s a pattern dedicated to my friends and followers in South Africa, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and other southern-hemisphere countries.
It’s a crop top and shorts for 10 inch dolls like Petite Barbie, but it will fit lots of other dolls too. I do recommend that you use a stretchy fabric for this project, like a jersey fabric. This will ensure that the T-shirt will fit your doll, no matter what her bust size is.
Today’s pattern will fit these dolls:
- Disney Princess 10 inch dolls
- Disney fairy 9 inch dolls (like the little Tinkerbell dolls)
- Momoko dolls
- Petite Barbie dolls
- Skipper dolls
- vintage Sunshine Family adult female dolls
Here are your free, printable PDF sewing patterns and tutorial videos for making the outfit shown at the top of this post:

Please note that the tutorials show how to make these doll clothes for smaller dolls, but don’t be discouraged! You’re watching the right tutorial videos! The step-by-step sewing process is the same for 9″ and 10″ fashion dolls.
