Today’s reversible shirt project is definitely not for the beginning sewists out there. But the shorts are a pretty quick and easy sewing project, and there’s also a pajama top among the extras on this week’s PDF pattern.
For my regular followers, that pajama pattern is one you’ve seen before. I just added it to this week’s PDF pattern because the shorts from that pattern do fit Petite Barbie quite well, as you can see in the image in this week’s tutorial video.
However, I’m super excited with how versatile this week’s reversible shirt is. It really looks nice on a number of different-sized fashion dolls, and how fun is that–to have a shirt that’s blue on one side and yellow and yellow on the other, and fits so many different dolls?!
So here are all the patterns and tutorials you’ll need to make this week’s shorts-plus-crop-top combo to fit Petite Barbie dolls:
- Free pattern for crop top shirt and shorts (plus bonus pattern for pajamas and slippers)
- Tutorial showing how to make the “crop top” reversible shirt (at the top of this page)
- Tutorial video showing how to make the shorts
- Tutorial for making the pajamas
- Tutorial for making the slippers
If this week’s video tutorial looks familiar, that’s because it’s a remastered version of an older tutorial. I’ve shortened some of the video clips and changed the focus of the video from Curvy Barbie to Petite Barbie.
