Here we go! This is the shirt pattern everyone has been waiting for, and yes, it fits Mattel’s Tall Barbie™ from the Fashionista line. Tomorrow I’ll post my sewing tutorial, showing you exactly how to make this cute top, which offers both short and long sleeve variations.
Need help printing my patterns? This link will take you to a tutorial showing you how to download my free, printable patterns.
If you’re wondering why I make patterns and tutorials without charging a fee, please visit the “Chelly’s Books” page, and that should explain my general motivations. Overall, I love to sew, design doll clothes, and embroider, and I think it’s important to share my talents with the world, so others can learn to do what I do.

Is the Tall Barbie the same width as the usual size Barbie? As I may I use this Blouse pattern for the Barbie doll I have here.
Here’s an image of a regular Barbie wearing Tall Barbie’s shirt and skirt. If you’re using a modern Barbie, I’d be most concerned about the circumference of her hips. As you can see, the top doesn’t quite fit at the hip-line. Otherwise, it looks like it fits pretty well.
