Here’s my list of what you’ll need to buy, if you’re new to sewing doll clothes:
- Elastic
- Fabric Remnants
- Thread, Gutermann Brand in a Variety of Colors
- Needle Threaders, Basic
- Needles for Hand-stitching
- Pincushion, Tomato Style
- Scissors (Basic Sewing Scissors – these are a MUST)
- Seam Ripper (AKA Un-picker)
- Snaps
- Straight Pins
And as you get better at sewing, you may want to add these tools too:
- Fiskars Stitchers Mini-Scissors
- Needle Threaders, Decorative
- Pincushion, Decorative
- Scissors Set with Mini-Scissors for Clipping
- Scissors, Pinking Shears (recommended but not required)
