You’ve met “Betty the Busdriver” before. She’s a DC Super Hero Bumblebee doll, all dressed up to look like a bus driver I met in Chicago. You can learn more about the real Betty here and here.

But today’s tutorial video shows you how to sew a pair of jeans (or use plain cotton to make trousers/pants) to fit these 12 inch action figures.

Betty the Bus Driver models her light blue shirt with tiny ribbon tie near the front of her shirt's collar, and her dark blue trousers that have decorative pockets. This is a Bumblebee DC Comic superhero doll posing as Betty the Bus Driver in four angles: facing right, facing forward, shown from the back (to illustrate her shirt's back closure and her trousers' embroidered back pockets) and facing left. Today’s patterns will fit these dolls*:

*12 inch tall DC Super Hero Girls, not the 10 inch action figures

On the Liv dolls, the shirt is a snug fit, so I do recommend using jersey fabric, if you’re going to make this outfit for Spin Master Liv dolls.

I do have other patterns that will fit the 12 inch DC Super Hero Girls dolls. Please visit the 12 inch dolls’ page to find that gallery of free doll clothes sewing patterns. Some of those patterns are a little easier to sew, in fact.

The image shows the DC Super Hero Girl named Bumblebee modeling handmade doll clothes, including a skirt with ruffle, a pair of pants, a tank top, and a sleeveless shirt. Free printable sewing patterns for making each of these doll clothing items can be found at ChellyWood.com under 12 inch doll clothes patterns.
