Sew a pair of Victorian-style bloomers (undergarments) for 15-inch dolls with today’s free pattern @ ChellyWood.com #VictorianEra #DollClothes

Scroll down to the second set of bullets for the free PDF sewing patterns.

Today’s tutorial shows you how to make a pair of cute little bloomers with lace edging, which should fit a number of different dolls in the 13-inch to 18-inch doll size range.

*For the 18-inch dolls, you’ll notice that these bloomers do not fit the American Girl 18-inch dolls, but they will fit Crissy dolls and BFC Ink dolls, which have a very narrow torso. Be advised that the bloomers may not fit over the knob at the back of the Crissy doll and/or the Velvet doll.

Today’s free printable PDF doll clothes sewing patterns will fit the following dolls:

The image below shows my Wellie Wisher doll wearing these adorable Victorian bloomers with a pair of Edwardian or Victorian-style boots and a simple felt undershirt. Later on, I’ll be giving you the patterns and tutorial video for making the boots! The undershirt pattern is my basic felt shirt pattern for 15 inch dolls, which can be found here.

This image shows a Wellie Wishers doll wearing a handmade undershirt made of felt, a pair of cotton bloomers with lace trim, and a pair of felt boots in either a Victorian style or an Edwardian-spats-style. Her underclothes are all white, and she stands with pigtailed hair in front of a mottled purple and pink background. Her boots have white "spats" (or they look like spats rather) over the top of navy blue shoes/boots. She stands on a dusty rose colored platform.
