Last Friday I confessed that I was really behind on my holiday sewing projects. Well here’s the result of crunch time!
Over the weekend I sewed this mix-and-match wardrobe for 18 inch dolls, using the patterns that already exist right here on ChellyWood.com
This 18 inch doll’s wardrobe includes the following:
- A pair of pants
- A set of pajama-style shorts
- A pair of regular shorts
- Three skirts
- One long-sleeved shirt
- One ruffle-sleeved shirt
- One sleeveless shirt
- One felt easy-sew shirt
At this time, some of these patterns are only available as JPG images, but over the course of the week ahead, I will re-post these patterns as PDF downloadable patterns. I will also give you links to tutorials that will help you sew each item of doll clothing.
Hopefully this will inspire you to get your own doll clothes holiday sewing projects done as well!
Don’t forget to show your appreciation for my free patterns and tutorials by sharing them on Facebook, pinning them on Pinterest, and/or tweeting about them (yes, you have my permission).
WOW,
you got a lot done. Good for you girl. ,GOD BLESS you.
Yes I did! Today I gave this package of doll clothes to the little girl for whom they were made, and the gift was very well-received. It felt good to get it done, and even better to see the delighted look on the little girl’s face.
