This is the same shirt concept that we saw last week, but in the image above, I used a leafy fabric instead of the solid lavender-colored fabric that you saw in last week’s photos:
Notice how the lavender top uses two tiny buttons in the front? Well this week I’m going to make the leafy-fabric shirt with buttons down the back instead (see image at top).
Here’s how it looks from the front:
Again, this week’s free pattern will fit a lot of dolls in the 8″ to 9″ fashion doll range (20 cm dolls, 21 cm dolls, 22 cm dolls).

Of course, if I don’t own the doll you ask about, I can only give it my best guess. Also, during #TapeMeasureTuesday, I’ll be posting the official measurements for Soul, my World of Love doll. During the past summer months (June through August of 2019), I designed these clothes as part of an ensemble for the World of Love dolls, which were produced by Hasbro in the 1970’s. (Disclaimer: I don’t work for Hasbro, but I do adore these dolls and others they’ve made!)

I’m very excited about these new patterns! After designing them, I found them both easy and fun to make, and they do fit a surprising number of different dolls in this 8″ to 9″ size range (20 to 22 cm size range).
If you look back at last Tuesday’s contest, you’ll see in the comments that these clothes will even fit some 10″ dolls as well, as long as they have a very slender figure.
