If you’d like to make one of the outfits shown in this gallery, just follow these directions:
- Click on the photograph of the outfit you’d like to sew.
- This will take you to a larger image of the photo.
- Beneath the larger image is a link to a blog post for all the free doll clothes patterns and tutorials you’ll need to make that outfit.
Please note: not all 17-inch dolls will fit into all of the patterns. If you don’t see your doll modeling the clothes here, then I do not have those patterns to fit that particular doll. So, for example, Gooliope is modeling a yellow felt shirt. The pattern for the yellow shirt will only fit Gooliope because the other dolls are not shown wearing that shirt.
If I’m missing a pattern you’re searching for, please submit a question. This is also a great way to make suggestions and requests, but please be aware that ChellyWood.com gets lots of requests.
Behind the scenes, though, Chelly Wood is working to write and publish a book about her easy techniques for doll clothes pattern designs, so you can learn how to design your own doll clothes too. Please follow this blog for updates on her book and its publication information.
If you’re a publisher who is interested in publishing Chelly’s book, you can find out more about how to contact her literary agent on the About the Designer page.
If you’d like to learn more about the 17″ Endless Hair Kingdom Barbie or Gooliope dolls or Mattel, the company which produces them, please click on the links provided. If you’d like to learn more about Tonner dolls (no longer available from that company), click here.
Note that ChellyWood.com is not connected to Mattel or Tonner or their affiliates. However Chelly personally enjoys designing clothes to fit the dolls their company has created.

I was wondering if you can make tutorials and patterns for supersize barbie 18”.
Hi Michelle. Thanks for commenting.
I don’t own a Supersize Barbie, but I remember them! Because I get so many requests for doll clothes to fit dolls I don’t own, I’ve created a series of classes that will help you size-up my 17″ Barbie clothes sewing patterns to fit your 18″ Barbie. Here’s a link to my class if you’re interested in learning how to do this.
