Behind the scenes, I’m creating a series of classes in doll clothing design techniques, so you can design your own doll clothes for your dolls, using simple techniques, household tools, and your amazing imagination! If you would like to work with me collaboratively or interview me for a sewing podcast (or other media), you can find out more about how to contact me and my literary agent on the About the Designer page.
The doll pictured in this gallery was labeled “Dream Collection” but I couldn’t find a registered trademark for it in the US Trademark database. If anyone is familiar with this doll company and would like to help me re-direct people to their website, feel free to leave a comment with a link.
Please note that ChellyWood.com is not connected to the Dream Collection dolls, their maker, or its affiliates. However I, Chelly Wood (the person) really do enjoy designing clothes to fit the dolls their company has created.

sooo I clicked on the pattern for the romper it took me to the larger picture as you said, I went to the chellywood.com page – it then took me to this page which asks me to click on the pattern I would like and it takes me back to this page …no patterns..???
I just checked all of the links, and they seem to be working correctly from my end. Once you get to this page, you should be able to download the PDF: https://chellywood.com/2019/07/04/sewingblogger-thursday-lets-sew-a-patriotic-dolls-romper-w-this-free-pattern/
Links are usually highlighted words below the images.
Sorry you have to click through so many of them, but I’m working to improve the blog layout each week.
I am trying to find the link for the 12 inch doll pattern dress with gathered sleeves! I am having trouble finding it. My 8 year old daughter just finished your 12 inch doll romper on her sewing machine. It turned out so cute!
Oh! I’m so glad the romper turned out well for you!
I checked the links to the green gathered sleeve dress for 12-inch baby dolls (I assume that’s the one you wanted?), and the links appear to be working… But just for your convenience, here’s a link to the right page: https://chellywood.com/2019/06/28/free-printable-pdfpatterns-for-sewing-a-dress-and-diaper-to-fit-12-baby-dolls/
Great thank you! I think I was having trouble finding the right link because I am searching from my iPhone. Thanks so much for sending me the link!
I love your patterns and tutorials, they are always appreciated!!!!! I just wanted to know if you will be posting any new 12-inch baby doll clothes.
Hi Clara. Thanks for commenting.
Yes, I have a 12-inch baby doll 2-piece pajama set that I made for my niece for Christmas this year. It takes quite a while to go from the drawing board to the website though, so I’m not sure how soon you will see this pattern. After I turn the pattern into a PDF, I like to try sewing it again myself, to make sure the pattern really works as a PDF and to ensure that the video directions make sense. So it could be a while before you see this one.
Okay, thank you!
Much Blessings Chellywood, i love that you are giving away free downloadable patterns .. i appreciate it sooo much.. i just finished the summer romper, i had no trouble at all with the download.. came out really cute for my grandbaby “s 12” doll, fits perfect.. keep up the great work!!! I will be sure to give credit where credit is due!!! Now, I’m looking for another pattern…lol have me hooked.
…… sincerely ERuiz 🙂
Congrats on sewing a successful little romper! I hope your grandbaby has tons of fun playing with it! Thanks for leaving a comment and have a great day! 🙂
I’ve looked at several of your pictures (these clothes are so cute!) but none of them have a link beneath the picture. Help?
Even on a smartphone, you should be able to see the links below, but you may have unique settings on your phone or tablet. Try a desktop or laptop computer to access the links.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I came across your blog while searching for babydoll patterns. Your free patterns just fit the bill. Using the 12 inch babydoll pj, diaper, and puffy sleeved dress patterns I have made two dresses, five reversible diapers and a pair of the adorable ruffled pj’s. I think I know one sweet 4- year old great granddaughter who will be well pleased.
I have pictures I would love to share but cannot seem to attach them.😢
To attach pictures (and yes, I have a place where I can post them, if you like), you have to first contact me. My contact form is found here. Once I reply, you can attach your pictures via email.
This prevents spammers from sending me virus-laden emails.
And congratulations on creating a whole wardrobe for your great-granddaughter! I’m so glad you found my patterns helpful.
