This week on ChellyWood.com, I’m going to give you the free, printable sewing pattern for the adorable red velvet shirt that my 18-inch Madame Alexander doll is wearing in the photo above.

It looks great with the free, easy-to-sew skirt pattern that I posted last week, as you can see in the image below:

This week’s pattern and last week’s are designed to fit most 18-inch dolls like the American Girl dolls, 18″ Madame Alexander dolls, Journey Girls, and other, similar-sized dolls.

The velvet top will require two patterns. I’ll post the bodice tomorrow, the sleeve pattern on Wednesday, and then Thursday I’ll post the tutorial video, showing you how to sew it together.
