
As we get closer to Christmas, I’d like to offer a few sewing projects for baby dolls. The image above shows a preview of the easy-to-sew baby doll dress pattern that I’ll be posting on ChellyWood.com this week (along with the tutorial video showing you how to make it).
Last week we made the little diaper that goes under the dress, as you can see in the image below:

The doll shown in these images is a Lil’ Cutesies doll from JC Toys. It’s marvelously detailed with tiny lines on the hands and feet, just like a real baby would have. I really enjoyed designing some clothes for a friend’s little girl, who treasures this Lil’ Cutesie that she named “Suzi.”
