And yes, I’m aware that the dollhouse in the video is more of a 1980’s style than a 1970’s style, but that’s all I could find in the clipart /video program I’m subscribed to. Sorry about that!

What’s the story behind this game?

When I was a kid, whenever it was playtime with dolls, we would lay out all our dolls and their clothing items. Then we would “do a pick.”

That’s where you take turns picking which doll or dolls you’ll play with and which outfits or accessories you’ll get to play with. Your playtime companion would take a turn picking her dolls, clothes, and accessories too.

    1. I wish there were photos and videos of the dolls and dollhouses I had back in the 1970’s, but unfortunately, I have very few photos from my childhood in general. We had a tragedy happen, so most of our photos of that era are just gone.
