Yesterday I gave you the patterns and tutorial videos for making Jake a long-sleeved shirt with a collar, and a pair of elastic-waist slacks or trousers.
Today I’m giving you the patterns and tutorial videos for making a raglan-sleeved casual T-shirt and a pair of jeans, for your Spin Master Jake dolls.
I love these dolls because they are highly articulated, as you can see in the image above. They’re built a lot like the Ever After High male dolls, but they’re cheaper to buy on Ebay.
Later this year, I’d like to try these clothes on my BTS doll, to see if he’s also compatible with Jake. Be advised that Jake has a smaller waist than traditional Ken dolls, so the pants and jeans aren’t going to fit Fashionista Kens.
If you would like to make his raglan-sleeved T-shirt, you’ll need some jersey fabric and snaps, and for the jeans, you’ll want some lightweight denim fabric and some gold embroidery floss (for the decorative topstitching — which is optional).
Today’s free printable PDF patterns will fit the following dolls or action figures:
- 11 3/4 inch (29.8 cm) Ever After High male dolls
- 12 inch (30 cm) Jake dolls (Spin Master)
- 12 inch (30 cm) vintage Ken dolls (crew cut Ken and Allen) (shirt only)
