Almost one year ago, today, I posted this free doll clothes sewing pattern and tutorial video for my Disney’s Mini Elsa doll, but I often get requests for new patterns to fit the little 5 inch Chelsea dolls.
So for this year, as we rapidly approach Valentine’s Day, I thought I would show you that the Mini Elsa Valentine’s Day dress will also fit your precious little Chelsea dolls!

If you love to sew for Chelsea (Barbie’s little sister), I do hope you’ll join me in making this really cute “tiny doll” dress! I used Valentine’s Day printed fabric for mine, and I think it turned out pretty cute.
If you want to make this dress, you’ll definitely need some cotton tiny-print fabric, a bit of velvet ribbon, and some size 4/0 Dritz snaps.
Which dolls will fit this dress?
- Disney’s Anna mini toddler dolls
- Disney’s Elsa mini toddler dolls
- Mattel’s Chelsea dolls (5.5 inches or 13.5 cm)
- 6.75 inch Strawberry Shortcake dolls (17 cm)
- some dollhouse-sized dolls (1:12 scale)
- 7 inch Lottie dolls
