Sew a pair of pants and a camp shirt for 17″ Barbie w/free patterns @ ChellyWood.com #DollClothesPatterns #CraftyMom

In this photograph, a 17 inch Barbie doll models a check camp shirt with blue denim jeans and a pair of black plastic boots. The doll appears to be walking toward the viewer in the image. The jeans fit comfortably, but are not particularly wide -- more of a "skinny jean" style -- while the shirt comes to just below the natural waist. Its sleeves, which are folded back, are worn at elbow length or just slightly above the doll's elbow. The doll stands in a room with a mottled turquoise blue wall and a white floor. The Chelly Wood dot com logo appears in the lower right corner of the photo, as a watermark.

Today’s patterns have been available on this website for a while, but today is the first time I’ve shared the camp shirt pattern on my 17-inch Endless Hair Kingdom Barbie doll. Previously, you could only find that pattern in the GI Joe and Broad Ken doll clothes galleries.

To make this shirt and pair of jeans, you’ll need cotton fabric, lightweight denim fabric (for the jeans), 1/4 inch elastic, size 3/0 snaps, and because the camp shirt has a number of places where tiny buttons would look good (like on the strap that holds up the folded sleeve), you might want to think about buying some.

Today’s free printable PDF doll clothes patterns will fit the following dolls or action figures:

Although the pants pattern will be too long, the shirt pattern will also very likely fit the following dolls:

If you’re wishing you could alter the pants to fit one of the dolls above, please consider taking my “How to Alter Doll Clothes Patterns” course on the Creative Spark online learning platform.

In this close-up image of 17 inch Endless Hair Barbie, we see the details of a handmade camp shirt, which has been designed by Chelly Wood. Red and white gingham fabric was used to make this shirt, but the gingham has two different sizes. The sleeves and pockets are made of a very teeny-tiny gingham print, while the bodice and collar are made of a larger print gingham (with each square being about 4 centimeters wide). The sleeves of the camp shirt have been rolled up and there's a fabric strip that appears to button up against the sleeve, to hold the sleeve's folds up. There are two front patch pockets at the doll's chest, and the shirt buttons or snaps down the front. The Chelly Wood dot com logo appears in the lower right corner of the photo.
