Rag Doll Patterns from Nikki at PinCutSew! #FridayFollow #DollClothesPatterns

Here we see two baby dolls laying parallel to one another with their heads side-by-side. One doll is Caucasian with orange hair, and the other baby doll has brown skin and black hair. The overlapping words say, "PDF sewing pattern."

Some of you, my followers, have asked me to design a plush doll pattern. Well… I have given that a try, only to discover I’m not very good at it.

The image shows the Chelly Wood doll (really a Spin Master Liv doll that has had her hair died and her face repainted to look like the real doll clothing designer, Chelly Wood) staring at the camera over the top of her lowered glasses. The photo is superimposed over a swatch of turquoise blue linen fabric with the word "hashtag goals" over the top of the photo. In the lower left corner, we see the ChellyWood.com logo.

However another blogger and YouTuber, Nikki from Pin, Cut, Sew Studio is fantastic at making plush doll patterns! Plus, her blog post entitled, “The Ultimate List Of Barbie Sewing Patterns” has sent me over a thousand views! So I wanted to say thanks to Nikki, by sharing the love…

So have a look at all the neat patterns she has created, by paying her a visit over at Pin, Cut, Sew Studio:

This image shows a little soft-bodied baby doll and a collection of handmade outfits that will fit her.

As you can see, Nikki creates doll clothes patterns, just like I do, and she’s a lot better at making plush toy patterns than I am:

This image shows several plush toys, including (left to right) a grey mouse, a yellow cat, a baby doll, a plush pig, and another baby doll.

I love this little complete outfit she designed, with its cotton cloth, wicker-look-alike basket:

This is an entire outfit for a doll to wear. Left to right: a basket made of cotton cloth that looks like wicker; a daisy-print dress in red white and black; a charcoal grey bonnet made of felt; a pair of red bloomers. All around the doll clothes are fresh-cut real flowers.

And just look at this cute sleep mask that goes with her dolly pajama:

A pretty little doll wears a handmade nightgown in pink plaid. On her head (like sunglasses that have been lifted up to above the forehead) is a sleep mask with embroidered eyelashes, as if the doll's eyes are closed in sleep. The text in the corner says "PDF sewing pattern."

Her patterns are very reasonably priced, and Nikki’s YouTube channel also offers lots of free tutorials with sewing tips and tricks, just like mine does.

For example, I loved her video with 7 tips for getting your sewing room organized! In fact, I store my fabric and patterns EXACTLY the same way Nikki does. It’s a great way to find what you’re looking for, and it keeps your fabric and patterns from getting dusty.

Before I go, I’d like to say, “Thanks very much, Nikki, for sending me photos of your plush toys for this blog post, and keep the amazing patterns and tutorial videos coming!” Also, I’m deeply grateful for all the traffic you’ve sent to my website, and I hope this blog post returns the favor!
