FREE Holiday sewing patterns for Skipper Doll elf costume @ ChellyWood.com #HappyHolidays #DollClothes

A Mattel Skipper doll models a handmade holiday dress with an elf hat and elf boots. The dress has a green felt bodice, lace sleeves, a green print cotton skirt that flares with white eyelet lace trim, and a Santa ribbon belt.

Yes, this is the same pattern I posted last Friday, but it looks a little different in green cotton Christmas fabric, using eyelet lace trim instead of the fur I used in the red version of the dress.

Now I used 1/2 inch Offray Santa-belt ribbon for the hat and dress, but it’s sort of hard to find in that size. I lucked out and found mine at JoAnn’s Fabrics, but they’re not carrying it anymore. So you might be able to find it on Etsy or eBay.

As you can see, these patterns will fit the 10 inch Skipper dolls, but they also fit many other dolls too. Just look back at my “North Pole Christmas” stop motion video to get a good idea of all the different dolls these patterns will fit.

Now for the patterns and tutorials you need. Here you go:

Although it’s not shown in the image above, my bloomers pattern is absolutely adorable with this little dress, and these bloomers fit lots of different dolls as well, including Skipper, the Disney Princess fashion dolls, and the 9 inch Tinkerbell fairy dolls.  So let me share those patterns and tutorials with you here as well:
