Sew a Pair of Converse Style Sneakers for Dolls w/Today’s Free PDF Patterns #ConverseSneakers #DollClothes

In this photo, a Ken doll wears a pair of black Converse style sneakers, while African American Lammily doll wears a pair of powder blue Converse style sneakers. The Ken doll appears to be standing with his feet together, quite still, while the Lammily doll appears to be leaning in with one foot cocked in the air while the other foot lifts up on tiptoes. Although we don't see the dolls' faces (we can only see them from the knees down), the photo gives the impression that Lammily has leaned in for a kiss! The watermark reminds us to go to Chelly Wood dot com for the free printable PDF sewing patterns and tutorial videos for making these doll Converse tennis shoes or trainers.

Today’s free PDF sewing pattern for a Converse-style sneaker can fit on Ken dolls, the beach Barbies with really large feet, Lammily dolls, and Spin Master Jake dolls.

As you can see, I’ve had a lot of fun taking pictures of Ken and Lammily in their handmade sneakers!

In the distance, we see a a pair of black Converse high top sneakers. In the foreground, a blue pair of sneakers is worn by a different doll, but the doll is lifting one of her feet into the air so we can see that her light blue sneaker has a black and white striped tread underneath. The ChellyWood.com logo appears in the bottom of this image.

Before today, this pattern was only available in JPG form, but today I’m upgrading the pattern to a PDF for easy download.

I used craft felt for the logos on the sides of my sneakers:

Two dolls face each other wearing handmade sneakers. The light blue Converse-like sneakers have a heart-shaped logo on the hi-top. The black sneakers have a more traditional blue star with red stitching, like true Converse shoes.

And the fabric I used was ordinary cotton. I also used a lot of embroidery floss for my stitching on these adorable little Converse-like sneakers.
