Yesterday I gave you my basic shirt pattern, and today I’m going to suggest that you use the same pattern with a flannel fabric, to create the cute pajama top shown in the image above.
I’m adding elastic-waist shorts to the pattern lineup today. Consider using flannel for your pajama shorts as well.
In the United States, where I live, it’s actually summer time, but this winter “snowflake” pajama project will likely appeal to our friends living in the southern hemisphere where it’s winter! If, like me, you live in the northern hemisphere, imagine making this cute pajama set out of polka dot flannel or plaid flannel. That would certainly be cute too!
Today’s patterns will fit these dolls:
- Queens of Africa Dolls
- Momoko dolls
- modern and Made-to-Move Barbie dolls
- Disney Princess 11 inch dolls
Here’s your free, printable PDF sewing pattern for the doll clothes shown in the image at the top of this post:

Jammies are cute but love the quilt.
Thanks, Dodi. Most of the quilts pictured in my photo shoots are miniatures made by my mother-in-law, but this little heart quilt is actually one I made. The pattern came from a book called, Little Quilts All Through the House, by Alice Berg.
It is lovely. And when this pandemic is over I would like to get with you about some loose shoes that may fit your larger fashion dolls feet that you had in the video. Stay safe’
I look forward to it!
Do you have a CURVEY Barbie pajama pattern. Thank you
This week and last week, in the blog section of my website, I posted some flannel pajama pants which are meant to go with a reversible tank top. I tried these on my Made-to-Move Curvy Barbie, and they do fit her, but they’re a little snug.
So I recommend using flannel to make the elastic waist pants that are already on the Curvy Barbie gallery, with the felt top that’s on the Curvy Barbie gallery. Just using flannel for the pants will make them seem more pajama-ish. Here’s a link to the Curvy Barbie gallery of patterns. Here’s a link to the Curvy elastic-waist pants and tank top.
