This week’s raincoat sewing project garnered five flowers on my difficulty scale, which means it can be a very challenging sewing project.

However it will help if you know a little about piping, lining a garment, and gussets. It will also help a lot if you view today’s tutorial video, which walks you through the creation of this raincoat one step at a time.

Tomorrow I’m going to post a video that may help you understand gussets on a deeper level. If you’re worried that my hood won’t fit your doll’s head, the easiest alteration you can make is to re-design the gusset. Tomorrow’s video may help you do that.
