Sewing a candy cane dress in June? Why not?! It’s always a good idea to get your Christmas gift sewing projects started early!
And with these free printable sewing patterns, you can sew a half dozen little outfits for your daughter / niece / granddaughter’s 8-inch baby doll without the stress of trying to get it all done before the approaching holiday smacks you right across your pocketbook.
Below are the links to the patterns and tutorial videos that will help you create today’s candy cane dress, which is pictured at the top of this post.

Yesterday’s pattern post also included the tutorial videos for making the reversible diaper pattern and booties (shoes) to fit 8″ dolls. You can check out that post here:
These patterns were designed to fit the 8-inch Lil’ Cutesies dolls that are produced by JC Toys. Follow that link to purchase one of these dolls, for your future Christmas gift-giving! (I am not affiliated with the JC Toys company, but I have been very impressed with the quality of the Lil’ Cutesies dolls.)

If this post looks familiar to you, that’s because it’s a re-post of a series of patterns I did just before Christmas time in 2018, but they are being re-posted as part of my website design renovations.
While website renovations go on, please be patient, but if you do find links that aren’t working, feel free to leave a comment or submit a question to help me locate those flawed links. Thank you!

The link that says it is for the candy cane dress gives the pattern for the snowflake dress.
Okay, thank you for letting me know. I’ll fix that!
I’m sorry. My mistake. I see now it is the same pattern for both dresses. I see the pattern for the sleeve is with the diaper pattern.
My doll is a Circo so she needs sleeves to cover the fabric part.
Thank you for your reply and thank you for the pattern.💜
You know what…? I actually did discover that the link to the snowflake dress tutorial was the wrong tutorial link, so your comment was actually very helpful! I just assumed you were mistaken about which link wasn’t working.
But hey, thank you for taking the time to reply in return. That was very thoughtful of you! And as I said, it led me to fix something else that wasn’t working right. So all’s well!
