This week on ChellyWood.com, I’m going to give you the free, printable sewing pattern for making this sweet little puff-sleeve dress for 12 inch baby dolls.
Sleeves can be kind of tricky, and this week’s dress uses elastic around the arm area of the sleeve, to give it that “puffy sleeve” look.
So on my difficulty scale, I’m going to say this particular dress is not for beginners. You need to have a bit of experience making casings for skirts (like last week’s 6″ American Girl Mini doll’s skirt, for example), in order to create this elastic-waist sleeve.
But never fear! I have created other, easier doll clothes for 12-inch baby dolls in the past, and those projects are still available here, on ChellyWood.com, as you can see below:
And don’t forget about this one too:
If you look under the images, you can click on the link, and it will take you right to the page with all the patterns and tutorials you’ll need to make each of those.

You are so informative. I never knew there were 12″ baby dolls. Or if I did I have forgotten.
Actually, I think the 12″ baby doll size is quite common. But of course baby dolls come in lots of sizes.
