#MeMade Monday: a babydoll pajama set and slippers for Skipper #dolls on #ValentinesDay

The image shows Mattel's 10 inch Skipper doll wearing a pink pajama with a heart-shaped button on the bodice. It has lace straps and the pink gathered fabric is topped with a lace bodice. The fabric is decorated with cupcakes. If you want to make this pajama set for Skipper, the free printable sewing pattern is available at ChellyWood.com (the watermark overlaid on this image).

Yes, the pajamas that Skipper is modeling in the image above are the same pajamas we made for Barbie last week. We’ll be using basically the same exact pattern for Skipper’s PJ’s, as the pattern will fit both dolls.

But this week I’ve added a little extra to the pattern I gave you last week; it’s a pattern for making Skipper’s slippers:

The image shows Mattel's Skipper doll's feet fitting snugly into a pair of slippers made of felt. The pattern for sewing a pair of these easy-to-make felt slippers is found at ChellyWood.com

You might have noticed all three dolls (Skipper, Made-to-Move Barbie, and Francie) were wearing these felt slippers in last week’s photos:

Mattel’s Skipper is shown wearing a cotton Babydoll pajama top with shorts, but the shorts cannot be seen as the camera angle is above her head a bit. The pajama uses lace and a heart-shaped button. She also wears felt slippers. The cotton pajama is decorated with cupcakes. Behind her is a wall that appears to be decorated with unicorns, rainbows, stars, and glitter... themes reminiscent of the dreamscape. The overlay, ChellyWood.com, is the URL for a website where you can find the free, printable sewing patterns for making this pajama set for Barbie, Skipper, Francie, and similar-sized dolls.

Well, this week I’ll re-post the revised pattern, which includes the slipper pattern pieces:

Made to Move Barbie is wearing a cotton Babydoll pajama top with shorts, but the shorts cannot be seen as the camera angle is above her head a bit. The pajama uses lace and a heart-shaped button. She also wears felt slippers. The cotton pajama is decorated with cupcakes. Behind her is a wall that appears to be decorated with unicorns, rainbows, stars, and glitter... themes reminiscent of the dreamscape. And as usual, I’ll also post a tutorial video showing you how to make the slippers too.

And yes, these slippers are truly as easy-to-sew as they appear. Altogether, this should be a pretty fun and easy-to-make project.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
