This image shows the adorable 28″ Barbie doll clothes we’ll be making here at ChellyWood.com over the course of the next two weeks.
It includes my argyle mini-skirt PDF pattern (which is free, like all the other patterns here on my website) and the pattern for the cashmere-style sweater, which is really just a lined shirt made with sweater fabric. I’ll be focusing on the skirt pattern this week and the sweater pattern next week.

This week’s skirt project uses knife pleats, which can be tricky to do, so this week’s free printable sewing pattern for the argyle skirt will receive five flowers on my difficulty scale.
However, as you can see, it’s super cute! If you feel like rising to the challenge of making knife pleats, jump in and join me!

I loved the way this outfit turned out, and I’m really proud to share it with everyone! The skirt will fit other dolls, too, which I’ll show you tomorrow on my #TapeMeasure Tuesday post.
For the most part, I found this week’s skirt project challenging but fun. The sweater is actually much easier to sew, but I won’t be posting that pattern until next week.
