I just realized my Curvy Barbie® shorts outfit isn’t on the Gallery Page. What was I thinking? That has been a really popular pattern!

So this week, I’m putting aside my Easy-Sew Tutorials for Kids agenda and re-posting my Curvy Barbie® free shorts outfit pattern and tutorials.

But don’t worry, the plan for a Halloween costume is in the works. If you’d like to vote on which Halloween costume I should make, here’s a link to that post.

Later this week, please watch for the re-posting of my Curvy Barbie® shorts outfit patterns and tutorials.

On a side note, I took this lovely Curvy Barbie® with me to Paris in July, and I have lots of great shots of her in Paris. The photograph above was taken while Curvy strolled along the cobblestone paths at Montmartre. Isn’t it lovely? Some of my other photos are in my YouTube travelogue video. I’d like to do more with this video series, but as I have recently taken a new job as a school librarian, I just haven’t had time yet. Bear with me. I’ll get to it!

It includes video tutorials showing you how to do a basic straight stitch when sewing by hand, how to use the whipstitch to hem a garment, how to sew on snaps, and even how to design your own doll clothes patterns, for those who are new to design and alterations.

Feel free to pinlike, or tweet about my free patterns and tutorials.

Need help printing my patterns? This link will take you to a tutorial showing you how to download my free, printable patterns.

If you’re wondering why I make patterns and tutorials without charging a fee, please visit the “Chelly’s Books” page, and that should explain my general motivations.

And in case you haven’t heard, I have also designed commercial patterns for Lammily LLC. They have some new dolls in their line, including a new male doll, so you might want to visit the Lammily website to see what they’ve got going on.
