Easy DIY Project: Sew a Wedding Veil to Fit #MomokoDoll, #Barbies, or Other #FashionDolls

Can you believe it? I somehow forgot to post Juliet’s veil when I posted all the costumes for my Romeo and Juliet doll clothes collection! Ugh! I’m so embarrassed! How could I have forgotten Juliet’s filmy and feminine veil? It’s so much a part of her persona!

So here’s the pattern, which has been on my site for a while under the “Doll Clothes Patterns” tab at the top of the page. Tomorrow I’ll post the tutorial.

By the way, this veil would also go great with the basic wedding dress pattern for Barbies and other fashion dolls, the strapless wedding dress, the halter dress I posted earlier this week, and even the Momoko/Blythe/Pullip wedding dress.

Juliet’s ball gown and veil pattern for Momoko, Pullip, and Blythe dolls is my own design. It’s free to print, but please show your appreciation by spreading the word on social media. Thanks!

As you may recall, you must enlarge my patterns to fit a full-sized piece of computer paper (8.5 x 11 inches or 216 x 279 mm) before printing. My designs use a 1/4 inch seam (standard for fashion doll sewing projects). If you have any questions about the patterns or their matching tutorials, feel free to contact me, using my “Submit a Question” form. I’m always happy to help!

Lastly, when you print my patterns, it’s always friendly and kind to like it on FB, tweet about it, and/or pin it to your Pinterest page. That way you’re helping to spread the word that these free, printable sewing patterns exist. Thanks!
