#Renaissance Doublet #Sewing #Pattern for Ken Dolls

Today I’m posting my pattern for the Renaissance doublet you saw in yesterday’s post. A doublet is more or less a vest with sleeves. During the Renaissance, these sleeves were often detachable.

Tomorrow I’ll post my video tutorial, showing you how to sew this doublet. This garment is not for the beginning seamstress, though! Beware! It’s a tough one to make!

On Thursday, I’ll show you how to make the trousers, and on Friday, I’ll post my sewing tutorial for making boots.

If you want to download and print this pattern, remember to enlarge it until it fills a piece of printer paper (8.5 x 11 inches or 216 x 279 mm) before printing. That way you can be sure the clothes will fit your Ken doll. And it’s always nice if you show your appreciation by tweeting, pinning, liking, or otherwise promoting this image and my website. Thanks!
