This is a photo from one of the stop motion action scenes in Chelly Wood's production of "Romeo and Juliet with Dolls." The character of Rosaline speaks with a male member of the Capulet household. Rosaline wears a burgundy colored cotton and tulle colored tiara style Renaissance hat. The tiara's tulle is splayed in ruffled layers across the top of the doll's long, spiral-curly blond hair. The doll also wears a beautiful blue-green and burgundy Renaissance gown with detached, lace-up sleeves. Beside her, the male character from the Capulet household is played by a female Barbie doll wearing male Renaissance garb, including a doublet-style jacket (like the Three Musketeers would have worn), a bright green tunic, and green pants with knee-high boots.
