It might look like AI made the image above, but actually, I used my Canva account to put together that image, in the form of a digital collage. However the quilt is another story.
It’s entirely made by hand, with careful hand stitching, by my mother-in-law, Anita. At 18 by 22 inches, this rail fence style doll quilt is the perfect size for 18 inch dolls like Journey Girls, American Girl, and Our Generation dolls.
It’s for sale in my Etsy store, and from now through November 19th, I’ve brought the price down from $40.00 to $35.20 plus shipping.

I’m sure some of you do quilt, but if you don’t quilt, and you happen to have a daughter or granddaughter who needs a little quilt for her 18 inch doll, this delicately hand stitched quilt would be a fantastic Christmas gift!
And remember, I have a nightgown pattern for 18 inch dolls on my site. Click here for that free pattern.
This quilt would go great with a pink flannel nightgown or a pretty burgundy colored nightgown made of silky polyester.

Once again, if you’re interested, hop on over to my Etsy store to have a look. More photos are provided there, plus one brief video.
Another thing to think about as the holidays approach is this: what will your family give to you? My “How to Alter Doll Clothes Patterns” course and my “Design Your Own Doll Pants Patterns from Scratch” classes on the C&T Publishing online learning platform are a great gift to ask for. Here’s my bio page on the C&T publishing website, where you can learn more.
