March has been an interesting month for me. My computer started slowing down in February, and then in March, I took it to the fixit shop.
And then I got it back and it didn’t work. So I took it to the fixit shop again. And when I got it back, it didn’t work again. This went on for something like five trips to town, and finally, at the end of March, I seem to finally have a working computer. (I’m keeping my fingers crossed!)
So the video above was supposed to be one of my Black History Month Friday features, in which I talked about an ordinary person who makes a big difference in people’s lives every single day, just doing their everyday jobs. Betty the bus driver is one such person.

Back in February, I did write up a blog post about Betty the bus driver, but the video had been underway when my computer conked out on me.
So now that I have my computer back, and it seems to be working, I tried to pick up where I left off and finish the video. And I figured, why not post it, even if it’s a little late for Black History Month?
I mean, a stop-motion video takes several days to make. I don’t want to just throw it away. And Betty was a cool lady who deserves a little attention, so… today’s video is the “vision” of what could have been, had I been working with a functional computer in February.

I do plan to post the patterns for making Betty’s outfit eventually, but having been without a computer for almost a full month, I’m a little behind! Please be patient while I make things happen behind the scenes.
