Okay everybody, I’m going to make today’s blog post short and to-the-point. I’ve designed another fabric! What do you think?
I painted apple blossoms, peach blossoms, and chrysanthemums in gouache, using a realistic approach. And then for the smaller flowers, I’ve tried to make them look more child-like because this fabric is called “Grandma’s Flower Garden 1975,” as if my grandma and I painted it together, when I was a child.

It’s available for purchase in a large print and a smaller one, in my Spoonflower store. I designed it in two sizes, so you can sew an outfit for a doll with the small print and another outfit for a child in the larger print.
But if, like me, you already have more fabric than you know what to do with, maybe think about voting for my fabric in the Spoonflower Challenge!
Voting opens on Thursday, November 6th, at 8 AM (Mountain Standard Time), and my fabric design was entered into the “Thrift Store Treasures” contest. Even if you don’t want to take the time to vote tomorrow, that’s okay. But if you do have an account with Spoonflower, it helps if you “like” my fabric too. Here’s another link to my store, for easy access.
Thanks for considering it!
