Today happens to be the first day of spring, so what better day to offer a new pattern for a lovely springtime or Easter dress?

The pattern I’m giving you today makes a lovely sleeveless dress for 6 to 6.5 inch fashion dolls like Topper Dawn, Palitoy Pippa, Breyer Rider 6 inch dolls, and many dollhouse miniature dolls in that size range.

Okay, with that said, let’s talk about what you’ll need to make today’s pretty little springtime or Easter dress for 6 inch fashion dolls.

I recommend using some cotton fabric and size 4/0 snaps.

In my tutorial, I also mentioned Fiskars Stitchers’ scissors, which are a must-have tool for anyone who sews for Dawn or Pippa dolls because they’re just so tiny!

I used a Dritz fabric pencil in my tutorial video. It’s handy for marking darts, and a fabric pencil easily washes out of most fabrics without damaging them.

In my video, I also mentioned the lightbox I use for marking darts.
