Adventures in Paris Part 2, with Barbies! #CurvyBarbie #PetiteBarbie

Yesterday I posted about the doll play videos called “Adventures in Paris” with Vanessa (Curvy) and Tabitha (Petite) Barbie dolls. Click here to see Part 1 of the series of these fun doll play videos.

I also asked the question: Have any of you taken photos of your dolls in various locations? Feel free to add your doll photography anecdotes (personal stories) in the comments section!

Vanessa’s shorts outfit patterns are, of course, free here on ChellyWood.com, as are the patterns for Tabitha’s little mini-skirt sundress. Here’s Vanessa modeling her shorts outfit on a street in Paris, near the Sacre-Coeur Basilica:

This image shows a Mattel Curvy Barbie with a Mediterranean complexion walking in front of an ivy-covered building in the Montmartre area of Paris, France. The doll wears a pretty purple crop top and high-waisted shorts made of cotton floral print in a pretty lavender-and-purple shade. Did you notice the pigeon photobombing her picture? LOL!

And here’s Tabitha, who is also posing near the Sacre-Coeur Basilica (the church that’s visible behind her):

Here we see a Petite Barbie modeling a handmade sun dress atop a concrete block, in front of Montmartre, in Paris, France. The doll's skirt is slightly lifted, so we can see that she wears a pair of shorts beneath the skirt, and the shorts are made of the same turquoise blue striped cotton fabric as her dress's skirt. The impressive structure of the Montmartre cathedral looms above and behind her, with its gorgeous arched windows, round-topped towers, and glistening white architectural walls. The Chelly Wood dot com logo appears in one corner.

During my trip to Paris, I found it best to arrive at my destination right around sunrise. The lighting was perfect at that time of day, and there weren’t very many tourists walking around as you’re taking your photos.

Anyway, hopefully you guys enjoyed my brief “Adventures in Paris” series of two photocollage videos. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

When I retire from my work as a librarian, should I make more videos like this? Do I need to add voiceover? Should I show the dolls in multiple outfits? Feel free to offer suggestions.

A Petite Barbie (Tabitha) and a Curvy Barbie (Vanessa) walk around the courtyard outside the main entrance of the Louvre Museum in Paris in a photo that lies atop the thumbnail which reads "Adventures in Paris Part 2" and shows a graphic image of the Eiffel Tower.
