Breyer Rider handmade doll clothes for sale $8.00 for top and pants! #Breyer #Horses

Here we see a front view of an 8 inch Breyer Rider doll (red-headed veterinarian Laura) modeling handmade doll clothes which were designed by Chelly Wood. The doll's long-sleeved shirt has a rounded hemline, a slight scoop neck, slightly puffy sleeves, and the sleeves are attached at the shoulder, rather than having a raglan style sleeve attachment. The shirt is made of red and white cotton jersey blended with spandex, and having very tiny horizontal stripes. The sleeves are long enough to reach to the doll's wrist. She also wears a pair of wide-legged navy blue pants or jeans. The doll faces forward with her hands at her sides.

Crazy as this sounds, there doesn’t seem to be anybody making doll clothes for the Breyer Riders, and after receiving many requests for me to sell my handmade Breyer Rider doll clothes, I’ve finally broken down and made some just for that purpose… to sell.

The Breyer company is best known for its model horses. I’ve got five of these horses pictured below, so you can see what I mean. (My daughter used to make and sell the horse blankets shown on the horses. Her “Giveaway” deal is from long ago.)

Image shows four model horses (Breyer Traditional horses) wearing hand-made horse blankets in various fabric patterns. They are posed in a snow scene with a country background and blue sky. Overlay says, "Emily Teapot's 4 Blanket Giveaway".

The Breyer company’s 8″ Breyer Rider dolls, though, are sold in the clothes they’re wearing with very few clothing options outside of the clothes they come with.

Now if you run a doll clothes sewing-and-selling business, this may be an opportunity for you to follow my lead and begin sewing and selling a few Breyer Rider outfits of your own. I’m fine with that! More power to ya!

But in the meantime, I do have a couple of outfits I’ve made specifically for sale. Today’s outfit has a red and white striped shirt with a scoop neck. The shirt is fully lined for better longevity when kids play hard with their toys.

In this image, the Breyer Rider (veterinarian Laura) doll faces away from the camera. She wears a red and white long sleeved shirt with navy blue pants or jeans that have wide legs like the 1970's style of pants. We can see that the back closure of her shirt uses snaps. She stands on a white floor with a turquoise blue mottled backdrop in front of her. She wears her ginger hair in a single pony tail.

It also comes with a pair of elastic-waist dark blue wide-leg trousers.

This outfit was inspired by some Barbie clothes on the Simplicity 8281 doll clothes pattern envelope. I designed my Breyer Rider’s clothes to look sort of like those 70’s pants and that cute, clingy striped top on the envelope below:

A quilted purple and turquoise blue frame surrounds an image of a red headed Breyer Rider doll (veterinarian Laura) standing beside the Barbie doll clothes patterns for Simplicity 8281. The shirt the Breyer Rider doll wears is very similar to a red and white striped shirt in the Simplicity doll clothes pattern set.

Please note that my Breyer Rider’s outfit only includes the pants and the shirt for the price of $8.00 (US dollars), plus $7.00 shipping, for a total of $15.00. I think that’s a pretty fair price for handmade doll clothes that are simply hard to come by.

Also, I am not selling the doll, her shoes, the doll stand, or the cutting mat that’s pictured in my images.

The text reads, "Breyer Rider doll clothes for sale, eight dollars plus shipping at Chelly Wood dot com." The photo shows navy blue pants with wide legs and a scoop neck striped long sleeved tee shirt sitting on a cutting mat.
