Easter is just a hop, skip, and a jump away, so if you’re going to make some doll clothes for a child, this little felt top and matching Easter-egg-print skirt for a Lottie doll is just what you need, since it only takes about an hour to make (depending upon your skill level as a sewist).

Not only is this outfit quick and easy to make for Easter, but a brand new Lottie doll is only 7 inches tall, and at that size, she will easily fit into an Easter basket!
Click on this link, if you want to use Easter-egg-print cotton for your skirt. You don’t have to use Easter-egg-print fabric though. Any small print or solid cotton fabric will be just fine.
You’ll need a little craft felt and two or three size 4/0 snaps to make the felt shirt, and you’ll also need a tiny bit of 1/8 inch elastic for the skirt’s waist.
As you’ll see in the list below, this outfit will fit a surprising number of dolls in the 5-inch, 6-inch, and even 7-inch size range!
