Today I’m sharing my free, printable PDF sewing pattern for making this sweet little strappy sundress with a “cottage core” feel to it. I first posted this pattern for the Rainbow High dolls, but I’ve since discovered that it will fit a number of other dolls too.
So yes, this dress will fit 9 and 3/4 inch female dolls from the Harry Potter Mattel collection (and similar-sized dolls).
To make this dress, all you’ll need is the cotton fabric of your choice and something to close the dress in back. The video suggests that you use snaps to close the back, but this dress fits my Ginny Weasley doll with a lot of room in the bodice, so I recommend using a swatch of 3/4 inch Velcro to close the dress in the back.
Today’s dress pattern will fit these dolls*:
- Petite Barbie dolls
- Skipper dolls
- Project MC Squared dolls
- Disney’s 10 inch Moana dolls
- Rainbow High 10 and a half inch dolls
- 9 inch Harry Potter female dolls
