Glitchy problems with my website and what I’m doing about it… #WordPress #Glitch

The Chelly Wood doll (a Spin Master Liv doll that has been re-designed to look like the real doll clothing designer, Chelly Wood) is seated at her desk in her office. The wall of the office is a mottled purple color behind her open laptop. The doll's fingers touch the keyboard which is resting on an extended arm of the desk. Her computer screen shows the ChellyWood.com "Share Your Creations" page with three doll clothes displays under the introductory text. The ChellyWood.com logo appears in the lower left corner of the image.

If you’re a regular follower of ChellyWood.com, you’ve probably noticed that my gallery pages are weirdly overlapping lately. I’m aware of the problem, and I’ve reached out for help.

You should be seeing normal images that look sort of like this, with obvious spaces between the images in the galleries:

In this thumbnail for the Rainbow High free doll clothes pattern gallery on Chelly Wood dot com, we see Rainbow High Sheryl modeling five different outfits that obviously fit her. she wears a red strappy short-skirted dress; a long girlish short-sleeved dress in green cotton with tiny white polka dots; a pair of ankle pants-jeans with a white long sleeved tee shirt; a pair of turquoise shorts with a little cotton short-sleeved floral shirt; and a white pinafore-style jumper dress that's decorated in tiny red strawberries with green leaves.

But instead, my images are all laid out like a hand of cards, overlapping one image on top of another.

Here’s what I mean:

The image shows a screenshot of the Barbie doll clothes pattern gallery from ChellyWood.com (a doll clothes sewing website offering free printable PDF sewing patterns for making doll clothes to fit dolls of many shapes and sizes). This is part of a computer glitch topic of discussion on the Chelly Wood doll clothes pattern website.

As I type this, I’ve already reached out to a local tech guru, who lives in my area, to see if she can fix the problem for a reasonable fee.

In the mean time, if you see that a page is loading with overlapping images, try hitting the “refresh” button on your laptop or desktop computer. I’m not sure how to help you from a mobile device, but if your device does have a “refresh” button, give that a try.

On the top of this image, it says, "Refresh!" and just below that, there's an icon representing the circling arrows that is often used for a "refresh" button on a computer. At the bottom of the entire image, it shows a laptop open to the ChellyWood.com website, where the doll clothes images overlap in a glitchy deck-of-cards way.

I’ve done a bunch of trouble-shooting on my own, researched how to fix the problem, fiddled around with various buttons in the administrative end of things, but nothing seems to work.

I’m putting together a list of problems this website is having, to share with the tech specialist I’ve contacted, so if you see any additional problems (besides the weird gallery overlap problem), please leave a description of the problem in the comments below.

The image shows the Chelly Wood doll (a Spin Master Liv doll which has been re-designed as an OOAK doll to look like Chelly Wood the doll clothing designer, blogger, and YouTuber) and she is holding up a clipboard in 1:6 scale. The clipboard has a tiny piece of graph paper on it, with scribbled writing and check marks. The Liv doll wears handmade doll clothes including pants with an elastic waist, a long-sleeve shirt, and an apron. The doll's dyed-grey hair is held up in a bun with an octopus clip. Behind her is a purple backdrop with the ChellyWood.com logo hanging on it.

And yes, I’m aware that there are still a lot of doll clothes patterns that need to be converted from a JPG image to an easy-to-print PDF. I’m currently going through all 11 inch fashion doll pages to see if I’ve forgotten to convert anything, so feel free to let me know about those — especially the patterns for all the dolls linked from this page.

I hope to soon begin converting all the Ken patterns to PDFs.

Tomorrow’s post will be a very special blog post, celebrating my recent leap to 10,000 followers on my YouTube channel, ChellyWood1, so please drop by and check it out.
