Cowgirl dress and Valentine’s Day dress for Baby Alive @ my eBay store #BabyAlive #DollClothes

The image shows two outfits for Baby Alive 12 inch dolls. The first one (pictured on the left) is a little denim "cowgirl" style dress with a pink leather-looking vest. It has tan embroidery on the skirt and a pink leather-looking belt. It has a collar and short sleeves. The second outfit consists of a multi-colored "jumper" style dress with hearts as part of the fabric's print and a handmade diaper that's reversible in the colors purple (on one side) and white (on the reverse side). Doll clothes designer Chelly Wood is selling these items in her eBay store, and they fit a 12 inch Baby Alive doll.

As my regular followers know, I’m selling a few of my doll-related items in my eBay store lately, to make room for new things. This week I’m selling a cowgirl dress (shown on the left) and a Valentine’s Day multi-colored “jumper” (in the US sense) dress with a handmade reversible diaper.

These items will fit a Baby Alive doll and other 12 inch baby dolls of similar size and shape.

The cowgirl dress will also fit my 18″ dolls like American Girl and Madame Alexander dolls, but I’m not sure which doll it was originally made for. It is a little bit long on a Baby Alive doll, as you can see on the picture below:

Here we see a 12 inch Baby Alive doll modeling a western-style "Cowgirl" dress with a leather-looking (moleskin) vest and belt. The denim dress is embroidered with tan curly-queues. There are two brass buttons along the faux front closure, and the denim dress does have a nicely-sized collar of about an inch length, folded against the fabric of the bodice. The short sleeves are puffy. The dress is quite long on the doll, reaching almost to the floor she stands on.

But it fits her okay. In fact, I think she looks pretty cute in this denim cowgirl dress!

I’m also selling the Valentine’s Day short dress, or (in the American sense of the word) “jumper” with one of my handmade 12 inch baby doll diapers. Here’s an image of that outfit:

The image shows a 12 inch Baby Alive doll wearing a sleeveless dress that's quite short. The fabric of the dress is patterned with hearts and circles in many bright colors like purple, pink, yellow, and turquoise blue. Under this short dress, you can see a little purple diaper peeking out in a discreet way. The outfit seems to suit the doll in terms of fit, drape, and color.

These two outfits are being sold together as a group in my eBay store.

This jumper-dress is one that came on the doll when I bought her. It was extremely difficult to remove the dress from the doll when I bought her, so I seam-ripped the back closure of the dress, removed its poorly-designed knockoff Velcro, elongated the back closure, and placed a snap in the back instead. This made the garment much easier to get on and off.

The diaper you see the doll wearing is one I made, so the set comes with two used items (the dresses) and one new item. If you’d like to bid on this doll clothes set, please click here. There is an option to “Buy now” as well, so this doll clothes set may sell quickly–maybe even before this blog post goes live!

If you’d like to make these reversible diapers for your 12 inch baby doll, I have a free pattern and tutorial for making them, right here on ChellyWood.com. Just click here to see that pattern and tutorial.

Incidentally, I do hope to add Baby Alive to my galleries at some point, so if you’re a fan of Baby Alive and do want to make some doll clothes for them, you might consider following this blog.
