Today’s pattern for a tank top is actually reversible, so if you scroll down toward the bottom, you’ll see the same tank top on my Bratz doll, but it has been flipped around to the purple side.
The tutorial video for today’s skirt project will redirect you to the tutorial for making a 3-tier skirt for Monster High / Ever After High dolls, but don’t let that surprise you. A three tier skirt uses pretty much the same directions, whether you’re making it for a bigger doll or a smaller doll.
So follow the same directions, but be advised that the bottom tier (the ruffle) for the 8″ or 9″ doll skirt is a narrower strip of fabric. So your 8 or 9 inch doll skirt’s ruffle at the bottom will look skinnier than it does on the MH/EAH doll skirt.
Today’s free patterns will fit the following dolls:
- 8 inch Bratz dolls
- 8 inch Breyer Rider dolls
- Kuu Kuu Harajuku dolls (9 and a half inch)
- Spin Master La Dee Da dolls
- Disney 9 and a half inch fairy dolls like Tinkerbell
- Hasbro World of Love vintage dolls
- vintage Sunshine Family dolls (but the tank top looks like a crop top)
