Can you believe all the dolls that will fit into this week’s easy-to-sew felt dress project? It’s unbelievable!
But I’ve said it in previous posts and I’ll say it again: felt is a super fun and easy fabric to work with! It doesn’t require hemming, it stretches and shrinks, and even little kids find it easy to cut out.
So if you’re looking for a doll clothes project to work on with someone who’s learning to sew — even a child who’s learning to sew — this week’s new tutorial and free PDF pattern for the purple felt dress with eyelet trim is an ideal project for the beginners out there.
Tomorrow I’ll post the tutorial video showing you how easy this project really is, but for today, I’m just re-posting the pattern. It will look familiar…
Today’s free pattern will fit the following dolls:
- Monster High female dolls
- 8 inch Bratz dolls
- Ever After High dolls
- 8 inch Breyer Rider dolls
- 6 inch Breyer Rider dolls (but as the photo shows, it’s a bit long on them)
- Spin Master La Dee Da dolls
- Disney 9 and a half inch fairy dolls like Tinkerbell
- Mattel’s 9 inch Stacie dolls
- Mattel’s 8 inch vintage Stacie dolls
- Hasbro World of Love vintage dolls
- vintage Sunshine Family dolls
