It’s February, so for St. Valentine’s Day this year, I looked back through my emails from fans and followers for an idea that might suit the Valentine’s Day theme. What did I come up with?

A babydoll pajama!

Made to Move Barbie is wearing a cotton Babydoll pajama top with shorts, but the shorts cannot be seen as the camera angle is above her head a bit. The pajama uses lace and a heart-shaped button. She also wears felt slippers. The cotton pajama is decorated with cupcakes. Behind her is a wall that appears to be decorated with unicorns, rainbows, stars, and glitter... themes reminiscent of the dreamscape. The overlay, ChellyWood.com, is the URL for a website where you can find the free, printable sewing patterns for making this pajama set for Barbie and similar-sized dolls.

This week’s free pattern for the babydoll pajama that you see above and below will fit Barbie, Francie, and Skipper dolls. It can also be adapted for smaller dolls like Monster High and the six inch American Girl doll  by simply changing the length of the bias tape used.

Mattel’s Skipper is shown wearing a cotton Babydoll pajama top with shorts, but the shorts cannot be seen as the camera angle is above her head a bit. The pajama uses lace and a heart-shaped button.
