Yes, this week I’ll be posting my pattern and tutorial for making these adorable white jeans with red seams. They’re designed to fit Mattel’s new “Tall Barbie™” and any other similarly-sized dolls with 15 cm inseams. Tomorrow I will post the pattern, so you can make these jeans too. Then, on Wednesday, I’ll post the tutorial video showing you how to sew them.
Thursday I’m going to post a tutorial showing how to make an ironing board for your doll dioramas. This is a unique ironing board pattern because the height of the ironing board is adjustable, so it should fit Petite Barbie™, Tall Barbie™, and everyone in-between.
You might be wondering about the peace-sign shirt my Tall Barbie™ is wearing. I’m not 100% happy with this pattern yet, so I’m going to fiddle around with it a bit more before I post it on ChellyWood.com. But don’t worry; that pattern is definitely on the drawing board, and like all my patterns on ChellyWood.com, I plan to offer it for free.
If you’re wondering why I make patterns and tutorials without charging a fee, please visit the “Chelly’s Books” page, and that should explain my general motivations. Overall, I love to sew, design doll clothes, and embroider, and I think it’s important to share my talents with the world, so others can learn to do what I do.
Want to show your appreciation for my free patterns and tutorials? Please do so by liking, pinning, tweeting, and/or somehow sharing this video with others. Thanks for stopping by!
Before I go, I wanted to give you another sneak peak at these cute pants I’ve designed for Tall Barbie. Here’s the back view:
