This is one of two free patterns you’ll need, to make the colorful, striped apron I’ve designed to fit American Girl dolls, Madame Alexander dolls, and similar-sized (18-inch) dolls. The apron is part of the Swedish Traditional Costume that I designed and posted a picture of in September. All of these patterns are now available to download and print for free on my Doll Clothes Patterns page. (Scroll to the bottom of the page to find 18″ doll clothes patterns.)
Tomorrow I’ll post a tutorial, showing you how to make the apron pictured in this pattern.
Meanwhile, it’s always friendly and kind to like my pattern on FB, tweet about it, and/or pin it to your Pinterest page. That way you’re helping to spread the word that these free, printable sewing patterns exist.
Also, remember to enlarge my patterns to fit a full-sized piece of US computer paper (8.5 x 11 inches or 216 x 279 mm) before printing. My designs use a 1/4 inch seam (standard for many doll sewing projects).
If you need help downloading and printing my sewing patterns, please take a look at this video tutorial, which offers a step-by-step guide, showing you exactly how to print my patterns.
