Yes our drawing for the summer wardrobe has ended, and the lucky winner will be announced soon. Meanwhile, I’m going to show you how to make the sleeveless summer top shown in the sweepstakes’ images. Tomorrow I’ll post the tutorial showing exactly how to piece together this sleeveless top. Below you’ll find my free pattern for the sleeveless top, the capris, and the shorts.

Remember that if you print and use my free patterns, it’s always friendly and nice if you also share or like it on Facebook, tweet about it, pin it to one of your Pinterest boards, and/or spread the word about my free printable doll clothes patterns in some other way.

As you may recall, you must enlarge my patterns to fit a full-sized piece of computer paper (8.5 x 11 inches or 216 x 279 mm) before printing. My designs use a 1/4 inch seam (standard for fashion doll sewing projects). If you have any questions about piecing this costume together, feel free to contact me, using my “Submit a Question” form. I’m always happy to help!

    1. Hi Teresa. I haven’t finished the robe pattern for Barbie-sized dolls yet. That pattern is still going through a series of checks to make sure it works.

However if you’re sewing for a smaller doll, like Skipper, I do have a finished robe pattern that will work. It’s under 12-inch dolls, in the vintage Tammy doll gallery. That pattern does fit Skipper, but it’s a little long-ish on her.

If you’re good at altering patterns, you could use this finished Tammy doll robe pattern, making alterations so the sleeves are long enough for Barbie.
