Can you help me identify this doll? #DollCollector #Dollstagram

A doll with long, wild platinum blond hair wears a blue polyester dress that's quite short. Texts around her offer details: golden-tan eye color: 22 centimeters or 8.6 inches tall; she's not wearing earrings but has holes for them; she has 11 points of articulation; she wears pink painted-on underpants; her dress is made of polyester. My mother always said, “If you’re going to use the restroom at a place of business, then you need to also buy something.” So the other day, when I went into my local thrift shop to use the bathroom, I looked through the sewing supplies first. Since they didn’t have anything I wanted or needed at that time, I moved on to peruse the dolls.

That’s when I spotted this lovely lady. Of course I bought her. In all honesty, I thought she might be part of the Rainbow High lineup, but it turns out, that’s not the case.

And I’ll be perfectly honest with you here; the day I bought her, I researched for several hours until I found out what doll she is. I wrote it down. Then I promptly lost the paper I had written it on!

UGH.

The Chelly Wood doll (ChellyWood doll) has a gaping mouth. Her long hair is drawn back into a handkerchief made of the same red and white check gingham as her shirt. Behind her expressive face is a purple gingham background with a streak of purple glitter paint across it. Clearly the Chelly Wood doll is expressing unhappy emotions like frustration, anger, or dismay.

So instead of sitting at my computer for a two to three hour research stint to do more research, I’m reaching out to you guys today. Do you know who this little lady is?

My hope is that at least a couple of you can tell me a little bit about this doll, like:

What’s her name? And what brand is she?

Does anyone know how best to clean her hair or what her hair is made of?

If you own this doll, what are your thoughts about her? Is it worth my time to design some doll clothes sewing patterns for her?
