I first posted these patterns for the Creatable World dolls from Mattel. But they also fit modern Skipper, vintage Skipper (from the late 1980’s and early 1990’s) and I just discovered that they’ll fit my DC Superhero Super Girl doll.
I wanted to be sure to include an additional pattern for these 10 and a half inch versions of the DC Superhero Girls, so I could create a gallery of patterns for her. So the next time you see her, it will probably be time for me to post her gallery.

I need to say that these jeans didn’t slip on the doll easily. They were a snug fit. But the inseam is perfect! So I think you would be wise to a.) use stretchy denim fabric for this project and b.) really follow my seam allowance guidelines carefully. If you don’t, the jeans may end up too tight to fit your doll.
But honestly, they look really good on this doll! So I sort of like the snug fit.
To make today’s T-shirt and jeans, you will likely need one of the following items:
- lightweight denim for the jeans
- jersey fabric for the shirt
- 1/4 inch wide elastic
- Gondola Snaps on Etsy (various sizes)
- chopsticks (for inverting doll clothes)
- Dritz fabric pencil
- Fiskars Stitchers mini snips (for clipping seams efficiently)
- Gutermann sewing machine thread
This list comes from my “Buyer’s Guide” page, which is easily accessed from the home page.

And if you’re interested in using earth-friendly fabrics, please consider buying your fabric from FabScrap. FabScrap is a fabric recycle and reuse service, where you can buy fabrics that would otherwise go into landfills! Watch my FabScrap unboxing video to see what kinds of fabrics they sent me!
Today’s patterns will fit these dolls:
- Petite Barbie dolls
- Modern Skipper dolls

- Creatable World dolls
- DC Superhero 10 inch dolls
- 1980’s Skipper dolls

hi i love sewing have been since i was 3 years old watching mumdoing it but now i dont have mums things any more and i dont read my language anymore either
Did you figure out how to print the patterns you wanted?
i havent been able to look at the patterns
Hi there. I see (in other comments you’ve made) that you’re unable to print a pattern from my website.
I served as a librarian for 10 years before I retired, so I’m going to suggest that you visit your public library. We librarians are very good a helping people print things. We get practice with it every day.
Most libraries will charge you a small fee for the use of paper and ink, like 25 cents or 50 cents. But you should be able to print with a little help from someone who has had practice with PDF files, and most librarians do.
Best of luck to you! 🙂
